Delete your Divvy account
You can delete your account at any time. Deletion is permanent.
Delete it in the app
- Open Divvy and sign in.
- Go to your Profile.
- Tap Delete Account and type DELETE to confirm.
You are signed out right away, and deletion usually finishes within a few minutes.
Can't use the app?
Email hello@godivvy.app from the email address on your account, with the subject “Delete my account”. We will confirm the request comes from you and delete the account within 7 days.
What we delete
- Your profile: name, email, phone number, and photo.
- How you sign in: sign-in methods, sessions, and two-factor and passkey settings.
- Your devices, notifications, and notification settings.
- Payment details you saved, such as Venmo or Zelle handles.
- Your friends list, invites, polls and votes, wishlist items, and recurring expense schedules.
- Your email forwarding addresses and the emails forwarded to them.
- Files you uploaded: your profile photo, receipt images, and forwarded attachments.
What we keep
- Expenses, splits, and settlements you share with other people stay, so their balances remain correct. Your name and details are removed from them.
- Trips and ledgers you own pass to another member.
- Security and financial audit records, without your profile details, to protect against fraud and keep money history accurate.
